Skirt full of Cables (english)

ASkirtfullofCables is a feminine midi skirt, knitted top-down in a repeating cable pattern throughout.
Two side pockets are worked and finished with an I-cord.
The skirt is worn high waist and unfortunately does not get along completely without sewing. The pockets must be sewn by hand last. The waistband is held by a 4 cm wide elastic, which is also sewn in at the end.

Before deciding on a size, take measurements of yourself. The skirt should be knitted with a negative ease of 0 - 10cm.
The size you need is determined by the circumference of your hips. The waist measurement can be adjusted individually with the elastic waistband. If your hip measurement is outside the described range, it is up to you whether you prefer to wear the skirt tight or loose.

Gauge: 
20 sts x 28 rows in purl st = 10 cm x 10 cm on needle 4 mm. 
NOTE! This gauge will change when you begin to work cables, so be aware that you maintain gauge.
